I like reading books about war. World Wars one and two to be more specific, but really, if it's got something to do with war, then I'll be interested. Regeneration was recommended to me by my form tutor during a conversation about the books that we loved and loathed. I looked the book up on the internet, and have wanted to read it ever since.I liked how the book focused on a different character at certain points, it allowed me to create a wonderful connection with the characters, particularly Prior, who I found to be an extremely interesting character. None of the characters were one-dimensional and they all had their flaws, which I think aided my connection with the characters. The end, although not a cliffhanger, was set up perfectly for the next book in the trilogy, The Eye In The Road.
